Just an FYI - Lyme disease and/or other tick-borne disease is highly under-diagnosed and misdiagnosed - usually as neurological, autoimmune, and/or chronic fatigue type illnesses. It can remain dormant and hidden in your body for years. Also, they way you are eating and taking care of your body is part of good Lyme disease treatment (along with antibiotics), so you might not be seeing extreme symptoms. The problem is, symptoms can be varied and affect different people in different ways based on their genetics, immune response, where the tick bite was, their age, diet, lifestyle, what strain of babesia they are infected with, what co-infections might be present, etc. It is similar to syphilis in that it is a 'great imitator.' Even if you don't think you have it (and this goes for everyone reading this thread), I would urge you to look into it so that you are informed. The mainstream medical profession has no idea what they are doing with regard to Lyme disease. It is only the integrative/holistic doctors who are successfully diagnosing and treating Lyme disease. There is a lot of evidence that it originated as a bioweapon - it's not easy to treat and there are a lot of very powerful forces trying to keep that covered up and put the Lyme-literate doctors out of practice.
Thanks for the info! I have not read much about Lyme disease. I work at a holistic wellness clinic and we have a few people we have treated who have had lyme disease. You are right about the presenting symptoms...its very hard to diagnose!
I used to have problems with sleep...basically an insomniac, but over the last year I have really worked to maintain a healthy diet and overall lifestyle. I have kept a great sleep cycle 7.5-8 hrs the last 6 months to a year or so and really have been pleased with some of the changes I made to my lifestyle so I could get some better zzzz's.
I am not currently sick and don't have ANY other symptoms of something else going on, actually had more energy the last week or so than normal, I use melatonin most nights, and I sleep grounded, but the last week or so I have woken up 5/7 nights and have almost sweated through my sheets every night!
Anyone else having problems with their internal thermometers at night!? I feel like I am waking up drenched in sweat about 3-4 am a few nights just in the last week!
I know some DNA/lightbody awakening can happen at night, so perhaps this is related to the slight increase in solar activity the last week or so, but I just wanted to check to see if anyone else was having some odd sleep disturbances.
