Original Message I see a lot of posts on here about how we are unarmed, and that there is strict gun control, blah blah blah. Bottom line is that we have tons of firearms here, including some that are banned in the US. Ar 15s and there variants are plentiful here. The only ones that they have a hate on for are AK's,HK's and uzis which are available only to a select few.

50 cal sniper rifles
semi auto .50 BMG
All manners of pistol, semi auto
All kinds of assault rifles
semi auto shotguns

and for those who have the proper licence
everything known to man, including tommy guns, full auto gucci guns, etc.

Bottom line is that Canada is hardly unarmed. if you are lucky enough to go way up north, you are also allowed to carry pistols. Driving around with a shotgun is not a big deal either, if that is your bag.
