Original Message My brother got a phone call from his groomer. His 2 year old Yorkie was dead. Groomer turned around to answer the phone. Yorkie jumped off the table, neck still in the restraining collar.

Neck snapped. Dog was swaying side to side, lifeless and limp.

If anything like that would have happened to my dog, I'd need restraint and the groomer would need protection.

I've no understanding as to why these restraining devices are still being used today, nor do I care to know.

With all of today's technology, isn't there anything better to do that job available by now?

Google "death by dog groomer" and get tons of heart-wrenching results...
