[quote:Anonymous Coward 53622953:MV8yMTE1MjI4XzQyNTcyMTg2X0Q4RUEyODI5] UN backs EU force in Central Africa amid troops push United Nations (United States) — The UN Security Council on Tuesday gave European troops backing to use force in Central African Republic amid a new international push to end deadly chaos in the country. The United Nations believes at least 10,000 troops will eventually be needed to restore order, France's UN ambassador said after the latest UN Security Council initiative on the crisis. The 15-nation council unanimously backed a resolution that allows a proposed European Union contingent to use "all necessary force" to protect civilians caught in 10 months of strife since rebels seized power. The European Union plans to send up to 600 troops to back African Union and French troops battling to end clashes between Muslim and Christian groups in Central African Republic. The African Union force is eventually intended to reach 6,000 troops while France now has 1,600 soldiers in place. Resolution 2134 also allows for asset freeze and travel ban sanctions against the ringleaders of groups blamed for massacres and human rights abuses. It did not name initial targets. http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5hFy6QAeZ4YqPphReP95IQNy6Cw5w?docId=913d64db-50f7-4a31-9bbd-0c50070e8f29&hl=en [/quote]

I keep thinking and saying Africa will be the battle to save EU from collapse the only way to survive is to expand seems to be what we see being played out before our very own eyes its funny how the Arab spring kicked of in a African country and not in the heart of the Arab lands Africa is a big target they will never be allowed a unification as this would be a serious threat to Europe yet China would play the investor card and be a buddy where as us the west would prefer a pay off to separate parties to keep turmoil rife in these countries, think about the money that has been poured into these countries via aid and other means if we really wanted them to be educated and have clean water and so forth they would of had it by now and would have taken out the ones who try to blunt this course of living for the people who want this.
Gaddafi wanted a Unified Africa one currency one military one government back in 06/07 and we saw what happened there
