The "Boer" were the specific subset of white Europeans of Dutch descent who implemented apartheid . The song is from that period. You can find plenty of other songs glorifying violent periods of regional history sung all over the world.

Sure other racial groups helped the Boers, but the Rothchild's war was against the Boers primarily. The Boers even had some Russians helping them, but it is still known as the Boer war, as the war was fought over control of the 2 BOER REPUBLICS.
