Original Message It is not spread by the desire to have the biggest church in town.

It is not spread by the pastor telling you that it is your duty.

It is not spread by fear.

It is not spread by some vague feeling of obligation.

It is not spread by wanting to grow your church so you can command a bigger salary, Reverend so and so.

It has been hijacked of course.

Those who truly know Jesus know him because someone who loved them told them in love about him.

Now, a lot of people say they know Jesus. But do they know love? If not they know not the Lord. It is not difficult to verify. As it is written, even a child is known by his deeds.

That is the only way that this message is carried. By love. Any other motive will fail. It may appear to succeed. You may have a huge church. There may be millions who claim to be part of your denomination. But if it not of love, then it is not of God. It will all fail.

The biggest gleaming cathedrals may as well be composed of ice. And they are. Those inside are cold.

Now we cannot forget that the church was seized a long time ago. Satan hijacked it. Those he lied to went around making up new rules and killing people in various ways. They made the world hate Christianity. That was the intent.

But still the message of Christ can yet be spread by love. And this is why it is so rare. There is so little love.

We all err. We all sin. But to love is divine.

May someone love you enough to tell you the truth about the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
