Let's face it, sex in America has a price. Everything in America has a price, so why should sex and companionship. More than likely your wife is not with you because you're an interesting guy with a great big heart.
Let's face it, most of us are not special. That includes you too ladies. What's special about most of you is stuffed into your shirt and between your legs. It's not that you or we are not capable of being special, we're just not interested.
We're not interested in being special. We like buying crap and watching tv. Pathetic isn't it? Back to my point. We men have allowed capitalism to decide our value system. We have allowed it to define our relationships with our children. Every Christmas and birthday you child blackmails you. Buy me some crap or I will think you don't love me!
What would happen if you decided to stop buying the latest garbage as "gifts"? What would happen if you created art as a gift or brought something from a local craftsman?
What would happen if you gave your girlfriend or wife a silver or steel band that you molded yourself. You and I both know what would happen.
All of our relationships are based on some form of capital or material exchange. We act like this is normal. It's not.
