yeah it did
what's the difference?
This one is more akin to the march 2nd 2012 tornado outbreak in kentucky... that pulled tropical and arctic air together right above my head. I'll try to get some screen shots
alright the screen shots I can get are useless lol the great derecho storm started out as a thunderstrom cell and it had a lot of energy to feed on... But this one has a lot more... pulling moisture and energy from the pacific ocean... yes tomorrow it will be over Kentucky... and at the same time over the pacific too... it ill also be pulling cold down from Canada... Nothing about this storm makes me happy... Its not even raining here yet... and i want to run to the shelter... im hope this storm doesnt go the extra mile... but its liable to turn very tornadic BUT my local weather dude who is pretty awesome and actually loves getting on TV to scream at us to run run run run when there is an actual threat just said this on facebook about the storm for my location in Kentucky.... US... this is for Kentucky... not ur state [quote:Bill Meck] OK...everybody take a breath...first off today is going to be a GREAT day...it's going to be warm and windy...enjoy this January treat. Second...yes there is a possibility of strong/severe storms late tonight and Wednesday morning. Damaging wind gusts will be the primary threat and it does look like a squall line situation where multiple counties could be warned at once...it covers a big area. There is no reason to panic...no reason to alter your day's plans (or even your evening ones). We'll be tracking the storms through the night and if situations warrant advise the folks in the greatest danger on how to protect themselves...but only if needed. The vast majority of folks will just have gusty thunderstorms to contend with. The only thing you need to worry about right now is just take a second to think where your safe spot is...just in case. Do it now while the weather is calm. We'll update more later, but until then, enjoy the warmth."

GFS 12z uncorks another historical strength extratropical cyclone, this time over Quebec. Remember the Cleveland SuperBomb?
