Is there a law in the UK against being paid by a Foreign Government if you are an MP? -- And the United Arab Emirates of all places;

The [UAE] government restricts freedom of speech and freedom of the press, and the local media practises self-censorship by avoiding directly criticizing the government. Freedom of association is also curtailed.
The UAE has not signed most international human-rights and labor-rights treaties, including the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, the Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families, and the Convention against Torture.
What about congressmen/senators in the USA? Anyone want to check the equivalent of the "Register of Members Interests" in the USA?
