Can't afford $3 for a cup of coffee every day.
with a french press you get the oils from the beans in your coffee it's awesome
I had to look up what a French Press is, Bed Bath and Beyond has one for about 40.00. I'll have to look into it, I love my my morning coffee!
Second Cup is raising their prices. Guess what Second Cup? I'm DONE going for coffee at your locations. McDonald's has a great coffee for much less. Or I will start brewing my coffee at home.
One of my favorite restaurants in Edmonton just raised their prices by 20%. Guess what? I will be taking a break from that restaurant now.
The Edmonton LRT sytem is raising prices again too! In the last year a ticket has gone from $2.80 to $3.20.
Everywhere I look prices are going up... yet Alberta is about to cut and slash jobs to save themselves from a 6 billion dollar a year shortfall.
So, we have rising prices all over the place here in Alberta and we are soon to see mega job losses in the government sector which will spill over to the private sector as well.
I run my own business... and when business gets slow and money gets tight I drop my prices! Increasing prices in a faultering economy is really stupid.
Businesses think that by raising prices they can make up for lost sales.
