speaking in tongues has passed away. speaking in tongues is actual human languages of other nations, not glosalalia.
there is no scripture that says the ONLY evidence of receiving the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues. there are many different gifts of the Spirit.

Salt is exactly uncorrect.  I used to make fun of the pentecostal people when I was a teenager.  Never make fun of something you do not know about.  I was taught all my life this was fake.  Until I received the Baptisim of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.  The Holy Spirit opens of a whole new world for you. The Bible has more meaning than ever before.

Yes, the Holy Spirit is alive. Yes, you may have been baptized in the Holy Spirit. But, unless you were speaking in a human language unknown to you but is known by other people, it is gibberish and not of God.

I am a seminary student. There is nothing scriptural about this hysteria. But, there are lots of scriptures about this behavior being NOT of God.
