Original Message So last week I started this thread discussing the hidden locked files on your PC called index.dat files and how to erase them for good.

Thread: If you think that erasing your internet files with a program protects you...think again.

This week, I'm going to show you how to not only find out if you are being tracked, and which companies/websites are tracking you, but also how to block them for good.

First, to see if you are actually being tracked. (you are) We will go back to that other thread and download one of the index.dat viewers, specifically Index.dat viewer 3.

You can download it for free from here.

Once you get that installed, open it and it will automatically list every site that you have clicked on (and some that you haven't). If you followed my other thread and didn't erase them already, naughty naughty.

But regardless, you will still have a few from current internet activity. What you need to do is go through that list and start picking out sites names that you know you haven't clicked on.

One example may be imrworldwide.com. They are a known tracking site and sell your records to anybody who will pay for them. They also target you and do so without your permission. If you;re ok with that, this thread isn't for you.

That's just one example but there may be more. If you don't recognize the url that the index.dat viewer displays, do a Google search on it. Chances are it has been discussed in length at various online forums.
