Just got done watching a DVD that a friend of mine sent me, it was a clip from a symposium on genetics, pretty thought provoking stuff.
Anyway, this geneticist gets up and says we (humans) are obviously genetically engineered (we have a fused 2nd and 3rd chromosome and many many other anomalies in our chromosomes and DNA) anyway, he put forth a pretty convincing argument that we (humans) were genetically engineered for this particular planet and we were seeded here on the planet Earth by some other highly advanced human-like species...
Now I don't want any biblical arguments about that possibility, I respect that, but that's not my thrust tonight...
What I was wondering was, if we are genetically related to this species that seeded us on this planet, would we still have any similarities to them at all?!?!?
Or has environment and evolution moved us in a totally separate direction?!?!?
Would we recognize the face of God if we saw it...and it looked like us?!?!? After all, we were created in his image...
