[quote:Anonymous Coward 32372156:MV8yMTMwOTU3XzM1OTY4NjM4XzY2Nzc2OUU2] Try pure clove oil on a cotton swab, crushed garlic and saltwater rinses every few hours for pain and hot/cold sensitivity. If it does not heal and seems to get worse, get it pulled. For your own sake, please see a second oral surgeon for a reassessment. You might be developing an access under the tooth's nerve which can infect the jaw and even kill you through sepsis (blood infection). I had a very close call once because my dentist kept telling me to come in for more expensive work on a failed canal but didn't check for a deep infection which made me very sick and could have been fatal had I not sought a professional oral surgeon for another opinion. If your face begins to swell on the side of the bad tooth and you experience sudden fever/confusion/nausea/fatigue go to a 24 hour emergency clinic ASAP. [/quote]
Had root canal, then retreatement (tooth was still tender), had several rounds of antibiotics, now tooth is reacting to heat. Doctor says to either have root canal surgery or pull it, he thinks there is a residual bacteria around the root.
Any natural ways to fix this?
