[quote:Anonymous Coward 33309367:MV8yMTMwOTU3XzM1OTY4ODg4XzhGMUQ5RDI3] The problem with a root tip abscess and most natural treatments is that the root tip is pretty well hidden down there in the jaw. Oil pulling works great for soft tissue issues, but this is an isolated, localized pocket of pus. Hard to get to. Here is how they get it out surgically http://www.cuh.org.uk/resources/pdf/patient_information_leaflets/PIN0674_apicectomy_faqs.pdf Back when they used silver points for root canals, the natual antibacterial effects of the silver helped keep this from happening. Does anybody still do silver point root canals?
Had root canal, then retreatement (tooth was still tender), had several rounds of antibiotics, now tooth is reacting to heat. Doctor says to either have root canal surgery or pull it, he thinks there is a residual bacteria around the root.
Any natural ways to fix this?
