[quote:Mr. Weird:MV8yMTMxODkzXzM1OTg3OTc1X0Q1Njc5RTAy] [quote:ArcanoExAngelos:MV8yMTMxODkzXzM1OTg2NzM5X0E5RjVENDI=] I am being foreclosed over a mere condo fee dispute after bankruptcy. Condo association lawyer is gouging assessments and fees and wont settle in short sale. My life will be ruined if he prevails...
This is nothing I have any knowledge of. I'm not a lawyer. It doesn't look like you have enough money to hire a lawyer so the only thing I can suggest is, if you are capable of doing a lawyers work and do a lot of research on the very subject of your foreclosure by starting with Google and putting in "cases involving foreclosure of condos", you may find one or more listed cases and the legal documents that were used in those cases. If any of them are similar to yours they could form the basis for you to file for a "Motion to Dismiss" or a "Show Cause." What this will do is stop the foreclosure process while the case is under review, which can take a lot of time. I don't know if you have much time, enough to do the research necessary and put together a filing but I think its the best option for you. Everything you need is somewhere on Google. Find it. And good luck.
The media got off this story a long time ago but very quietly there are still hundreds of thousands of homeowners being foreclosed on...and amazingly about 84% of them are illegal. I did the research on this and know what I'm talking about. Please let me know if you know any of these people who are being scammed out of their homes. Thanks.
