Original Message I ran into my ex from highschool in the detergent aisle at Wal-Mart a few days ago. We were that couple that everyone thought was perfect for each other.

Things ended with a bang. He was a year ahead of me, and we both got scared when he got accepted into a college far away. We didn't want things to end, and in our fear and frustration of what would happen, we broke up. I think we knew the end was inevitable, so we wanted to it ourselves, and not suffer through a long distance misery. So, we subconciously created arguments until it ended.

We both got rebounds. I'm not sure why, but he picked a real winner....my opposite....runaway girl living in a group home. She was jealous of me even being within a mile of him. She was rude to me, and eventually, I started getting angry and yelling at her. The school was rennovating, so she took a brick and threw it at my head. Needless to say, this ended in me bleeding profusely, and her going to the police staiton. I was sure he'd break up with her for this behavior, but he didn't. He simply told her "You shouldn't have done that". I blew up, and this caused a huge argument.

So, back to the current. Running into him at the store was more than awkward. We're both married now. We both tried to make conversation...you know fake laughing/smiling. He did, however, go home and send me a friend request on Facebook. I accepted, with my husband's permission of course.

I almost brought up the past at the store that day. We never resolved it, and things ended so horribly. I thought about sending him a private message on Facebook. In the store, he looked like he wanted to talk about it, but dind't know how. It would just be nice to get some resolve.

What do you guys think?
