my desktop is a few years old and windows just wasnt running right on it and really pissing me off so I finally saw the light and installed the Linux mint OS..
This is my first time ever using Linux but the installation went easy and after a few hours clicking around I really like it.
It took me some time to figure out my sound settings but that is all squared away..
I have a few questions..
where is the spell check?
how do I adjust my scroll speed on my mouse?
Is there any tweaks or things I should do to get it running better or faster?
Is there any programs to download that will make my Linux life better?
Do I need to install drivers for my video and audio cards like windows? I clicked the little shield thing and it says everything is up to date..
I love it so far, the puter is way faster now and navigating Linux has been a breeze..
Is there any good websites or videos to teach me the basics of Linux?
