Just adding on to that.

If the sun went supernova, we would all be blown away. The black hole that was left would begin to eat it's surroundings and continually grow to most likely consume our neighboring planets. As black holes expand, their mass increases, thereby increasing the gravitational pull on surrounding objects.

No our sun is to small to make it to a black hole stage, it would need to be manny times larger and then implode in on itself

Original Message What if the center of every planet is a filled up black hole? Earth's acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s, but as you get closer to the center it gets stronger. What if the center of the sun is a huge black hole that is filled up, and its gravity is strong enough to have all of these planets orbit around it.

How much mass can go into a black hole before it fills up? Thoughts?
