Sandy Hook - Why the lies about the Bushmaster?

Lt' Vance and the Connecticut State Police have been lying to the public and it can be proven. Vance states the Bushmaster .223 was found with the shooter inside the school yet videos show it being removed from the trunk of the Honda while multiple msm sources make the same claim.
They even go on to say that Nancy Lanza had legally purchased the weapons even though Connecticut law states:
"“ASSAULT WEAPONS”
No person shall possess any "assault weapon" unless that person possessed that firearm before October 1, 1993 and received a certificate of possession from the Connecticut State Police prior to July 1994
She's owned it for over 20 years? O.K., what ever. It's possible but unlikely. Time magazine could find no record of her ever buying or owning any weapons at all.
What do witnesses describe hearing?:
Booms, pops, someone kicking a door, fixing the roof, pans falling, 1 witness specifies hearing shotguns.
The sounds could be construed as being caused by a shotgun, what about damage? The glass by the front door is more consistent with a shotgun than rifle. The difficulty identifying some of the victims is definitely a sign of shotgun rather than rifle or handgun fire.
Even if each victim had been killed by .223 bullets it would not have disfigured them so badly as to make identification only possibly through photographs for 20 child victims and resulted in only 2 open casket funerals. Morticians are experts at facial reconstruction and filling gaps in bodies for cosmetic purposes. .223 bullets upon entering only leave very small holes.
Finally, shotguns are mentioned by a police officer at around 12:30 in to the radio transcript (Fairfield 9;36am -)
Since a shotgun was found on scene and only later admitted to, one must wonder why it was purposefully left out of the story.
What if?:
Police accidentally fired into closet killing some children? To cover for this police would they invent the Bushmaster and plant one on scene?
Remember that initial reports from Sandy Hook mentioned handguns and only handguns being found with the attacker. Why did they have to somehow make everyone think an assault rifle was used? If this were a planned event to create support for anti-gun laws they would introduced an assault weapon from the start, would they not?
This is the only scenario that is making any sense at all to me - the Lanza and whoever else may have been with him killed some people with a shotgun and maybe some handguns and somehow police shot someone with their rifles as we know they were carrying them that day.
Sorry to have to post this anonymously but some people will flip and say I'm accusing the police of shooting children. I'm saying the possibility exists of a tragic accident having happened that it's being covered up. The cover up is about the guns, think hard why that would be.
