[quote:Anonymous Coward 18850150:MV8yMTM3ODAxXzM2MDk2NjE3XzJBMDkyQjcw] . There is no consciousness after death. Our ONLY immortality is via the resurrection of the body. The belief that our personality is immortal apart from the body is PAGAN. It is the LIE the serpent told Eve in the Garden of Eden. btw... the Bible term, "Holy Scriptures", = Old Testament. . Many things about the Christian religion confuse me. With respect to going to heaven pending the return:
1. When you die, do you experience nothingness until Jesus' return?
2. If so, do you experience 'nothingness' instantaneously, in other words hundreds maybe thousands years pass and didn't even realize time has passed?
3. Physical bodies will be reunited. This part also confuses me. What about decay, skeletons, people who were cremated. How does that work.
Looking forward to learning more.
