Does the dream just fade away or does a black sky suddenly form? I am just curious what you see during the transition.
Most of the time you just wake up. I can just lay there coming out of it though, and re-enter the lucid dream state without any disconnect. There is a lot more you can do, just varies on how good you have become at it. Waking gently up from one is a great time to try for an OBE.
^^ Generally like this for me, too.
It's fun. But, I went about 2 years straight lucid dreaming every night. I was concerned there might be side effects from being consciously awake/aware for so long non-stop. I rarely had moments where I wasn't consciously 'aware' and consciously awake. No side effects that I have found, except to say life has grown extremely long for me. And, it is like my intelligence went through the roof. I can remember things extremely easy nowadays. I would be lucid in dreams for hours/days, and one time even a 3week period. Hard to describe. Not to mention the astral travels and 'other lives' lived, etc. I pretty much have them every night now, but I have toned them down by intention, so they are not quite so vivid, and so I don't have them throughout the night. I'll have them for a couple hours in the morning hours mostly now.
That's really cool. I can agree with a lot of what you wrote. It's nice you're able to have them so often. I haven't been able to tone mine down (haven't thought to, either, will have to try)--they're either there, or they aren't, for me. I had about a month straight recently where I was having them almost every single night, it tired me out. I'm glad to be back to normal dreaming again, for the time being. :afro:
You could say I was pretty much addicted to it. I could go back and visit places that I had been to, re-visit 'friends', created friendships/relationships...it was fucking CRAZY. Still do this, but to a much lesser extent. Not even to mention all these strange worlds, and astral realms, etc. Experimented with EVERYTHING.
Create a thread with techniques that you used and share some of your stories please :)
