Yea Really ? like there are a bunch of career choices out there.
Make your own, no one owes you a damn thing.
I gotta agree with Brief. I'll guesstimate there is around 3,000 jobs to be found in my county... very little of that is decent paying jobs... The surrounding counties have even less jobs... those people come here and work... And everybody hires their cousin to work lol lol and everybody in a 10 county radius is related  so its hard getting your foot in the door even in Mcdonald's around here... alright as per the 2011 census 13,842 live in my county... 7,817 lives in another Leech county 4,820 live in another leech county Tri county area = 26,479 people 3000 jobs in my county... 1000 available in each of the other counties... thats 4000 jobs for 26,479 28,751 people live in another county that comes here for jobs but that county has a decent amount of jobs on their own turf... even though many from that county works in my county.. i wont count them... Its not rare to see 40 year olds with Rank 1 degrees flipping your burgers... This area pretty much has nothing... if you want something you have to either leave... or get smart... Now i dont make a lot of money... fuck im poor as dirt... BUT I get by... bills get paid... lights stay on and i just finished eating rotini and Alfredo for lunch... A 3 dollar meal that fed 4 people. not too bad. anyways... since my area sucks, and i dont want to wait 10 years for a shot at flipping burgers... and i dont want to leave... what am I gonna do? cry cry cry cry? no, I'll dig a fucking ditch for 20 bucks i'll clear your driveway of snow and salt it for 20 bucks i'll cut and chop a load of firewood and deliver it for 50 bucks I raise a big garden and produce most of my own food... i dehydrate, can, pickle, freeze food all summer and fall long. I hunt and gather, deer, rabbits, fish, turkey, squirrel, if it crawls its fair game to be eaten. No need to poach... i can gather all i need during the allotted season. i'll jump in and take every legal chance I can to make a dime. Its not easy... its not a very good long term plan. and it fails financially when emergencies pop up. But i know this... This sorta lifestyle wont work forever... but for the time i manage... and im happy. I'm going to college this year and im going to get a shiny piece of paper... and im gonna find me a job that will pay good. I could just sit here all year round a let the lights go out... and starve... but i dont. no one owes you anything, its a cold cold cold world... if you want something... you gotta carve it outta blood, sweat, tears and by using your brian morans!
