I lived 20 minutes drive from Newtown - in the town next to it - Southbury. All I can say it is dead as a doorknob there. Totally quiet and secluded from more urban centers.

I can see why some might not like the quiet and solitude there, though it is a nice place to raise kids in a peaceful environment. Well, until a nutjob breaks the silence. Oly an opinion, but to me with not much to do but a normal routine, I can see why a recluse who plays first person shooter video games all day would go batshit, especially with a psychotic mother with weapons.

Just to prove my point about the psycho mother, every news outlet says there was 26 killed. There were 27 killed. All the news outlets leave out the psycho mother in the count. Though she was the first I can only imagine so many blame her for her son going off the chain.

They say 26 because they are referring to the shooting at the school.
