Original Message Been wondering if they have found any impact sites yet and apparently they have. Haven't noticed any threads about it (did a quick search)and was curious if any other info has been posted.

I did manage to find something but I can't post the link as this particular site is a bit stingy with copyrights. But if you search 'russian meteor impact site' in google news it should be the 1st link ( has pic included in article). Off to do some more hunting.

More info;

Army units found three meteorite debris impact sites, two of which are in an area near Chebarkul Lake, west of Chelyabinsk. The third site was found some 80 kilometers further to the northwest, near the town of Zlatoust. One of the fragments that struck near Chebarkul left a crater six meters in diameter.
