I've experienced several times that people with a physical disease would get pissed off at me when I suggested that there is a connection between the mind, emotions, soul and the physical manifestation of disease.
I suggested alternative medicine, and self-reflection to detect any possible psychosomatic connection between their disease, mind (thought) and emotions.
These ppl got mad as hell at me for suggesting that disease might have to do with our soul and subconscious trying to tell us something. They felt offended at the idea. They want to feel like victims of the disease and want others to just feel sorry for them.
There are many books out there about the mind/body connection. Louise L. Hay wrote about the connection of habitual negative thought patterns and the development of disease.
The ppl who get mad when you mention karma and psychosomatic as causes and/or contributors of disease do not want to take any responsibility for their disease and rather want to give it up to their medical doctors and expect a cure to happen on a mere physical level with pills, chemo and surgery. Have you experienced that? Why do ppl get so mad and hate you when this is mentioned?
