Very disturbing, this. [/quote] so by reading this thread you you guys just don't have any idea what psychotic mental illness is all about eh. I was homeless for 5 months because of psychosis. I should have been in hospital and so should many homeless people. The people they are targeting are genuinely dangerous.. because they are absolutely crazy.. have you ever had contact with someone that crazy? they are literally dangerous and need to be hospitalised. For their safety and for everyone else's. this warrant they talk about is in many countries. It's not new and it's not odd - it's for people who are in a dangerous state and who should be being medicated and kept out of public until they are better but who just run off and go fuck it. They cause genuine fucking trouble, these people. becuase they are as insane as it gets... unless you have seen it or been it don't just go OMG they want to take away our liberty blar de blar it's for no reason!!!!.. um no.. it's for a very good reason. According to the NY Post, NYC has begun a "roundup" of the mentally ill homeless who hang around subway stations.
The city has already
drawn up a list of 25 targets
This comes after a pair of high-profile subway-shove fatalities from December.
“After the Queens subway attack [of immigrant Sunando Sen], the [city] decided to take a proactive approach to track down the most dangerous mental-health patients that currently have
mental-hygiene warrants
” out for them, a law-enforcement source said.

Cops in the NYPD’s Real Time Crime Center are using high-tech methods to first track down the individuals, and detectives on the street have been assigned to then go after them and take them to hospitals, law-enforcement sources said.
