[quote:recollector:MV8yMTQ0NjI3XzM2Mjk0MTc3X0ZBOTkyRjY1] [quote:recollector:MV8yMTQ0NjI3XzM2Mjk0MTcyXzhBRjNEQkVB] Bulgarians, YOU WILL BE FOOLED LIKE WE, ROMANIANS, WERE!!!! After weeks of protests in January 2012, at under 2- Celcsius degrees freeze, the givernment resigned. Another gov. from same coalition was instated. That gov. resisted less than 80 days. The "opposition" coallition (the "saviors" lol) formed a new gov, witha very fragile majority. We chiil, no more stret protests, and we waited for Decemeber 9, 2012 general election, to give a big majority to the "opposition" coallition. They took 70% of the seats, in both chambers. There are 2 and a half months since than. They di EAXCTLY NOTHING!!!And not only this, but they are ontinuing selling our gold, silver, copper mines, out thermo and gas and electricity companies. But here, they are smarter. We are the country that had the ONLY revolution in 1989.They must be sneaky. And they are.We got no price modification on electricity bills, or heat bills, or extremely small ones (1,5%). We are ina much better situation than Bulgaria. We earn mor, less unemployment..BUT THIS WILL LAST UNTIL we cannot support more. We, same as bulgarians are used to support many things, including eating less and buy less clothes. What I wwant is that my bulgarian brothers to NOT BE FOOLED LIKE WE WERE !! Keep fighting guys.We are only 3-4 month to be in same situation like you are. Than, greeks and bulgarians and romanians will do what had must be done looooong time ago: DESTROY THE MUTANT CALLED EU !!!

Massive riots have been going in Bulgaria in the last couple of days. The biggest ones that the country has seen in the last 20 years. More than 300 thousand people went out and protested against the ongoing stealing by the bankers and the electricity companies /CEZ, EON and EVN/, piling pressure on the government after a week of persistent demonstrations.
Protesters chanting "It will be the same every day until we win” , paralyzed city centers and demanded the resignation of the cabinet and the re-nationalization of power distributors.
There have been some clashes with the riot police, but in the city of Varna something unprecedented happened. The chief of the city police said that they are on the side of the protesting people, but there still must be no destruction and looting. To show their support of the people, the riot police putted their shield and helmets on the ground! From the other side people gave them flowers.

Sunday saw the biggest demonstrations in eight days of protests. More than 2,000 people blocked the highway to Greece near the southern town of Dupnitsa and in the capital Sofia protesters blocked traffic on the famous Eagles' Bridge

On 24.02.2013 there is going to be a nationwide protest and it is expected more than 800 000 people to go out on the streets. People gave the government a 7 days period to get rid of the electricity companies and to nationalize the infrastructure.
