Ok so in addition to my day job, I do handyman work on the side, as well as construct hoop houses (greenhouses. Within the last 2 or so years, I have made some very good money doing this for people moving to the Ozarks. Most of these people have money, and alot of it. A few weekends ago I was installing a rain water catchment system for this man for a huge detached garage he had built on his property, he had a very impressive collection of cars, including 2 Ferrari's, and a 57 Chevy.
Not just him. I've done alot of work for newer farm owners, all of these people had a seemingly endless supply of money to spend, and wanted work done in a hurry.
I have noticed alot of nicer cars driving around too, especially younger college aged girls driving expensive suv's.
It appears there are alot of wealthy people moving out here.
Remember this is an area where the average income is around 30k for most people, and many people are unemployed, so it stands out.
