Tired of packs of raccoons roving your neighborhood like a street gang? Think your neighbor is feeding the street-smart mammals in their backyard? If some lawmakers have their way, you'll be able to do something about it.

The Senate Committee on Environment and Natural Resources could hold a work session on Senate Bill 474 today, which would classify raccoons similarly to bears, coyotes and wolves. That would generally prohibit leaving scraps for racoons or feeding them.
