This complaint must be considered on its merits.  Otherwise, a way to get away with creating an intimidating environment would be to accuse your target of some crime.

Again, I don't know if he raped her, someone else raped her, nobody raped her.  The university doesn't either.  What they know is that legally he is presumed innocent at this time, and it would be unfair to him to allow the threatening situation to persist until the legal case is settled.

Her biggest mistake was using the campus's rent-a-cops. She should have used the local police, assuming they're any better.
