[quote:Stickywicket:MV8yMTUzNzUxXzM2NDMwNDg4X0E3MDI0RUJF] [quote:GhostAvatar 241180:MV8yMTUzNzUxXzM2NDI5MjI3Xzg5QjdBMTJE] I wonder how many posters here can spot the significance of the contradictions found in this article: {Why is this statement so important?} -"Becky’s son was in Amanda D’Amato’s class and a state trooper told her that the parents for that teacher’s class should wait in a special room in the rear of the firehouse. “That was before they told us that 20 children were dead,” says Becky. She takes a deep breath, stronger than anyone could imagine this mother to be at her son’s wake in Monroe, Conn., where the coffin was closed for reasons that are too soon to detail. Who told them there were 20 dead children? “I heard it on the radio on the way to the firehouse,” Stephen says. “The state police told us in the firehouse,” Becky says. By this time, almost an hour had passed. “I figured maybe he was shot and in a hospital and alive,” says Becky. Stephen says, “Then I got to the firehouse and the troopers made me sign a sheet of paper. I counted the signatures. There were 20 signatures. I had a sense then that my son was gone.” Becky found Stephen in the firehouse, and they went into the back room again. “Then they assigned each of us a trooper,” Becky says. “By 3 o’clock, the troopers came to us again and said the two kids who went to the hospital had perished,” Becky says. “I knew then. But I felt they weren’t forthcoming. I understand that they did what they did to keep us as calm as they could so that we could give them descriptions so they could identify the kids.” Especially the ones who were unidentifiable. “And then Gov. (Dannel) Malloy came out and gave a speech and said he wasn’t gonna take any questions from the families of the dead kids,” Stephen says. And yes the answer is very simple... There is no excuse period for the nurse to hide in a closet for 4 hours. She did not want to identify those kids for a reason... or provide aid. The same goes for emergency responding personal. Especially, when one of those kids was still alive. But she like them didn't know that...
OK, this is just nuts. As far as I know NO kids died in Amanda D'Amato's class. The kids that died were in Lauren Rousseau's class and Vicki Soto's class. This is the first story I've read that has a kid from any other class being shot. To add even more confusion, in this video at 1:52, Susan Ehrens, who's daughter Emma survived, decribed her and 8 OTHER kids escaping from Vicki Soto's class. So, if you add 9 escapees to the 5 that died and the 7 that were found in the closet, that makes 21 kids in her class. That is 6 more that are in her class photo. Not only that, just as Ehrens is decribing how those kids ran and ran a half mile away, the video of her testimony ends just before she could have said that some of those kids ended up on Rosen's lawn. Coincidence?
