Do you ever get worked up enough by a manager that you want to risk your own well being by just quitting?

And I deliver said resignation to the superior of whomever is giving me problems. Try it - you just may get a raise and promotion. :)
You won't get a raise or promotion if you submit a written resignation..... You're just out of a job...no income, no benefits. Better to get that boss fired and keep your job.
If you are a valuable employee, they will beg you not to leave. Has worked for me several times in my life. For the OP - Turn in your resignation AFTER you make the top sales for the month. ;)
There is 1 person in particular at my work that tries her hardest to get under my skin.
I've been nothing but kind. I work WELL beyond my means and my paygrade, and I always put on my game face at work.
I'm coming up an escalator about to go on break and god forbid I text my direct manager about a schedule. I get an overhead call on the last step.
I call the manager and she was watching me. She blows it way out of proportion and says "next time I see you use your phone it'll be my phone. Do you understand?"
Of course I politely say I'm going on break and i don't do it ever anyways, and with all due respect the escalator isn't the salesfloor.
I could just feel her negativity and I can't handle it while at work. I don't want to blow a lid and give her what she wants. But she just kept pushing the negativity, even saying "she's right next to me. Check your phone [name]."
No. Fuck you.
I am always positive. I'm beginning to see that these little jabs have a sole purpose of making me angry and it works. So I won't let it anymore.
Im gonna keep check on this.
Finish the shift or leave negative nancy to deal with her kindergarten on her own?
