If the concrete floor had rebar which is required by code then the entire house would have dropped in the hole, not just one bedroom. In fact the story of a sink hole swallowing just one bedroom is structurally impossible.
Notice how there is no visible evidence of a sink hole from outside the house. What are the odds of that?
