Original Message I'm 25 now and I don't have a girlfriend, rather, a girl whom I can consider my close friend.

The reason for this is my shyness and my introvert nature. I can talk to girls while texting, or chatting online but when it comes to talking with them face to face, I am not very good at that. Some girls even find me "dumb" for this reason.

Infact, I have liked a couple of girls but I never had the guts to ask them out. I have always had the fear that if I ask them out, and I am unable to talk interesting stuff with them, they'll find me even dumber than what I actually am.

I am not sure if this is some kind of social phobia or something like that.

I was just wondering, can a shy guy like me ever have a good life ? Will I ever get a wife ? My future looks bleak ! :(
