Does anyone else find it odd that both of them (half black) became world champions in two of the most elitist sports where athletes usually come from rich white families? Now, I would say the same if they were both half Norwegian half Italian. This has nothing to do with race.
Lewis was groomed by Mclaren ever since he was a kid. Yes, he showed potential in karting at a young age. But, so do a lot of boys and they don't get signed by a team like Mclaren before they're teenagers. Was he groomed specifically to become the first black champion? Note that he won his world title two days before Obama(also biracial and who resembles Lewis) became the President of the most powerful nation on earth.
