Besides, I can't stop, I can't stand the lies and that so many believe in all that satan wants them to.
:hugs: Its made a lukewarm Catholic like what I used to be become a staunch Catholic. I hope it is doing the same to others. So the dark has done me a favor lol. God works in mysterious ways. We are Blessed KK for our Faith. Lets pray for the Church that the Holy Spirit purifies it to give it added Spiritual Strength for the final battle against the enemies of Christ
:red_heart: I'll be praying for that, for sure, Spain. For me, I've made it back to the church only recently, and am so full of gratitude my heart bursts every Mass.
I was very luke warm and laid back till recently about it all I am so grateful for my Faith. I wish others could share in this as we do. Ive recently discovered the beauty of Traditional Mass etc.. Its a new me and I am so grateful. If only others could experience this without judging according to what they hear and are told. The Catholic Church is so much more than can be explained. It has to be lived. Its a gift. A beautiful gift of the spirit. My wish is to serve God and the Catholic Church as a lay person. :hf:
I don't think most of them have even set foot inside a Catholic church, or sat through a Mass, their opinions are based on what they are told. I'm a convert, became a Catholic in my early twenties, but left and followed the self-god for a long time. She is a precious gift, more than is expressable, I'm discovering so much I didn't understand or couldn't appreciate before. Wild horses couldn't keep me away now ;)
The beautiful Latin Traditional Mass. Just recently discovered it. The wonderful souls met through the years, nameless saints. So many nuns that Ive met which are absolutely amazing souls, with such wisdom, insight, humility , love , goodness, who will remain anonymous and the media will never talk about. Priests that dedicate themselves to others. So many people that are amazing that I can look up to, that give life another meaning. So many lay people that make life a daily prayer. To sanctify your daily life. I havent found this anywhere else. The media wont show you this.
I haven't been to a Latin Mass, but I can imagine it is beautiful. After years of speaking with so called enlightened folks, and listening to the the men and women they proclaimed wise and holy, it was almost a shock to discover in my little town, inside the church, a roomful of men and women who are so unassuming, so humble, yet so devoted to practising love and possessing real wisdom. The priest was a young Indian man, whose face shone with purity and the honour of his vocation. Hardly anyone knows these people are there.. we now have an Irish priest, who has spent the last twenty years in Ghana, he has added his own touch to the Mass, so different from the Indian priest's, but with the same devotion, our faith truly is universal, it amazes me. I think the church is growing in strength, she is flexing her spiritual muscles, it's an exciting time to be in the church too, more of the truth will come out with the Papal elections.
definitely exiting times. I was speaking to a priest a couple of days ago and he agreed..its a good sign that the world is reportedly attacking us. We should worry when the world agrees with us or says we are doing things right. If the world attacks us it means we are on the right path. Like Christ said, His kingdom is not of this world..yet. It will come in heaven as on earth
You are too blind to see that the Church is the last bastion against darkness.
Thats why its being attacked from without and within.
