[quote:ASV 3884607:MV8yMTU4NTkzXzM2NTA5MDI1X0QwQkNGNzZD] [quote:_J 35177432:MV8yMTU4NTkzXzM2NTA4MTM2X0U5RDA5QUM1] Israel needs to shyte, or get off the pot. Either annex the land AND her people. Or just leave.
That's classic false dilemma. Put down your Tom Friedman talking points, dood. You're way out of your depth here. There are plenty OTHER options here, not the least of which is a) Israel annexes 'Area C' and part of 'Area B' including Jordan Valley --- which comprise 70% of the West Bank, but are either desolate or have very minimal Palestinian presence. b) the few Palestinians who live there would be offered generous 'buy-out' package, which most Palestinians would jump at if surveys are to be believed (and that's considering that selling your property to Jews is punishable by DEATH in Palestinian Authority, mind you!) c) the few other Palis would be offered CONDITIONAL path to citizenship, revokable for terror-related or treasonous offenses, however loosely defined (many countries still have such laws on the book, why not Israel?) d) Israel continues to develp their new-found oil & gas finds and reaches 500 Billion dollar annual GDP economy before 2020 (not bad for a country of not even 6 million Jews, who live in an arid desert conditions hostile to farming, and who just 25-30 short years ago were pooor quasi-Socialist country) e) The Arab Spring further bankrupts Israel's neighbots like Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, soon to be followed by Jordan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Bahrein.... thus making Israel look like an even more of an economic, cultural OASIS in the eyes of investors & even those pragmatics who don't normally agree with Israel's policies. And so on and so forth. Sorry to disappoint you, pal, but if you had some South Africa Aparthed-style wet-dream visions re: Israel.... you are going to be SORELY heart-broken.
Read the article if you get a chance but a major quote from the article that everyone should hear is
""Israeli sources told the Tribune that Obama has demanded a timetable for Israel’s complete withdrawal from the areas of Judea and Samaria, commonly referred to these days as the West Bank. The sources said that “Obama has made it clear to Netanyahu that his visit is not about
photo-ops, but the business of Iran and a Palestinian state. The implication is that if Israel won’t give him something he can work with, then he’ll act on his own.”"
I am not sure if you guys understand the prophetic signifigance of Obama's trip to Israel but the way this is literally matching up with Bible Prophecy is just "Amazing"
Is it possible that this Month we may see the Rapture?
That this March the Tribulation would begin?
Thread: Jesus Entered Jerusalem 5 Days Before Passover - Obama To Do The Same....Are your eyes opened?
Check out that thread for some good info on the possible prophetic implications this trip is bringing.
ALSO
Obama is wanting to visit the Temple Mount while in Israel.
For those who are well versed in Eschatology and Biblical Prophecy should understand this is referring to what Jesus said: -(paraphrased)
"When you see the Abomination of Desolation spoken by Daniel the Prophet stand in the Holy Place ...For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again."
-Jesus [Matthew 24]
