Thank you for comment. I am glad you posted your perspective, because that is "exactly" what I am addressing here.

You asked "How is just reading about/commenting on "bad things" negative to the rest of the world?"

(I paraphrased your comment a bit, as that is what I think you were saying, more or less.)

Here is the concept you need to understand... the thoughts, words and deeds you do in this life are not, in any way, shape or form, disconnected from the "rest of the world". There is no rest of the world! There is no disconnect whatsoever.

The entire world you live in is COMPLETELY a reflection of YOUR own consciousness. There is nothing in the world that is "inherently" good or bad (although we would all probably have the same "definitions" of what these are... this is our "shared" reality space that we all are mixed up in, if you will). And so when you read something, have a thought about something, say or do something... you are actually making a CHOICE to have that "feeling"... or in short, to align your own energy with that concept. Yes, even sitting at home and writing a comment about something actually ADDS to the energy that that idea has in the world. The entire Universe... is actually a MIRROR that reflects what you think, say and do.

So should you just ignore things you don't like in the world? Yes, that is absolutely one way to handle them, and is probably the best way for many things. They just don't exist to you... you prefer something else. But there are some things that you cannot ignore, as there is so much "weight" of belief behind those ideas (there are so many people that share the same perspective on "how things are"). And so sometimes those realities will impose on yours, and you must react to them. Fair enough. The key point is however, HOW you will react to them... positively, or negatively? (as you define each to be... or do both if you like!)

Consider, for example, the idea that "the Federal Reserve is printing lots of money". OK, maybe it is, and for the sake of this arguement, I will CHOOSE to agree with you that there is something called the Federal Reserve, and that it is indeed printing money. So now we both share that same reality space of a shared perspective. At this point however, you can again CHOOSE how you are going to react to that particular idea or situation. One perspective is to post a thread here on GLP that says: "The Federal Reserve is printing money... this means hyperinflation DOOM!!!!! PANIC AND FEAR EVERYONE!"

You must understand... the perspective you take on any issue or choice in your life determines the reality that you will live in! Read that line over and over again. We do NOT all live in the same reality...we just live in a place where "most people agree to define things the same way, and so they react and make similar choices about those things, which gives us all a pretty similar world". But the world YOU live in doesn't have to be that way, if you don't CHOOSE it to be that way. And the more you consciously choose to live in the world that you prefer living... the more you actually WILL, along with everyone else that shares that same or similar perspective (and at the same time branching away from the world that is of your previous perspective). What Earth do you want to exist on?

Don't believe me? Then try out this experiment for a day, or a week if you can. First, be GRATEFUL for something... anything in your life, make a list, and remind yourself of this often throughout the day. Being grateful puts you in a positive energy state, which makes it more easy to change your reality. Then, as your day/week progresses, for every person place or thing that you encounter throughout the day, say to yourself... think to  yourself.... KNOW to yourself... that you can choose how you will react. No matter how negative any situation seems, you can always change the energy in that idea to have a positive outcome for you. And once you do that, the Universe will change the "mirror" that it is to reflect that reality. It does this in the way it knows best, and the way it determines to be the most efficient, so you cannot have any expectations on how this will happen. If you think to yourself, "ok, well the Federal Reserve will just stop printing money then", this is "probably" not going to occur...because the Universe is going to find a more efficient way to give you what you have really asked for, which, subconsciously, is that "I want to have economic prosperity and stability". Keep holding the idea you prefer, and in one way or another, it will be.

Yes, there is a positive side to hyperinflation if you know how to play it. There is always another take on a story.

I plan on doing an exposé on the DHS's purchase of over two billion rounds of ammunition and nearly three thousand Stryker type military vehicles. What spin could I possibly put on this to make it more positive. If I take your suggestion and make it rosey, would this not be a disservice to my readers?

I would like all of you... ALL of you... to consider the following idea:

This web site has a HUGE audience of people that visit it each day. Thousands of people... imagine if you could put all of them in a football stadium or a large park.

So many people... so many MINDS... and most importantly, so many different ENERGIES. This place is an amazing "gathering of human energy consciousness", if you think about it. It's really fantastic!

And so riffing off this idea that GLP is a huge assembly of Human Energy... well, sometimes it makes me wonder if people realize the power of "NEGATIVE" post titles, negative viewpoints, and just in general people that add nothing but NEGATIVE energies to the discussions at hand?

Anytime you see a thread entitled "DOOM", "WHAT DO YOU HATE - LIST IT HERE", DISASTER IS COMING...RUN!!!!", "GIANT WORLD-ENDING EARTHQUAKE IN 2 HOURS"... well, what kind of energies do you think these threads are manifesting in our world?

You see, it's not about WHAT we are all talking about here... yes, there are many things in the world that can be considered both "bad" and "good"... but rather, it is HOW we are doing so... or more specifically... WITH WHAT INTENT / ENERGY ORIENTATION we are thinking about these things.

Please understand this. You are Energy. Period. Existing in a Universe that is also made up purely of this same energy. You are not separate from that energy, you are a part of it, and it is a part of you.

You can take that energy, and through your own CHOICE, you can align yourself/it, with either a negative or positive perspective on any issue.

This is the choice you have as a human, as a physical being on Earth. In fact, this is why I think we are even here to begin with... to align our energies with what we prefer best.

We are living on a planet that could be like any Heaven that you prefer to see... you just have to open yourself up to the positive perspectives to have it all revealed to you. We don't have to create anything in a way... we just have to develop the right attitude, and then that version of reality will be revealed to us.

Acting on this Knowledge - Choose your Energy Direction

If what I have said above makes sense to you, you can start changing things RIGHT NOW. Remember that the language you use to describe an idea impacts the thoughts you have... and these thoughts change the direction of your energy orientation. Nothing has power over your own reality except YOU, and how you CHOOSE to experience it. So if you don't like the way GLP looks now, you can change this by how you entitle your threads, what threads you choose to respond to, what kind of stories you post, the words you use or do not use, and most importantly, what perspective you choose to hold on any situation.

CREATE, with your directed energy and intent...the world that you prefer. The way you choose to think, actually defines the world you will live in!!! The energy you put out, is what will be reflected back to you in the world you see.

If you opened this thread... if you read this far... if you are considering what I have said... there is a reason for that. As a human with free will, you can consciously choose how you are going to see any situation... and you KNOW that you can always change something that is seemingly negative, to have a positive outcome for everyone involved. That is your true power.
