[quote:Anonymous Coward 3579277:MV8yMTU5OTgyXzM2NTA5NDc4XzIyQTNGN0Iy] For the North Korean leadership, this idea of them being the primary force to instigate the re-unification of their country - that has always been an abiding piece of zealoutry that drives them forward....that gives them their impetus and being. They may now see no other alternative but to follow that habit mind plan. [/quote]

Why do I say that?
1.Because they now know China itself is working against them (todays vote in the UN with China agreeing to impose sanctions against the DPRK - a first!)
2.In North Korea's internal dialogue, that occurs at the highest political level, they have always seen themselves as being the final arbiters of their country's re-unification...its the thing they are most obsessed with.
3. Since this past weekend all their military has been going into a progressively 'winding up' state of a huge military exercise, trains in the capital have been camouflaged, artillery units on the border are showing high activity.
4. The new administration in South Korea is in flux, a head of the defence forces hasn't been appointed yet - so an opportunity by the North to take advantage of that situation.
5. Semi-submersible's showing high activity in both seas near the border (they'll deliver their A-Bombs - stealthy - rockets are a ruse)
6. The tunnels under the DMZ were built for a reason.
7. And now this...the commander of the special forces that did the attack on the Cheonan corvette has been rehabilitated by the regime:
