Original Message Word to the wise.....

So I have a pretty decent boss. He is hardcore ex military but an all around a pretty nice guy. Lets just say... he is pretty straight laced and we have VERY different senses of humor.

So I recently was blessed with a gnarly ear infection yesterday and was prescribed some strong pain killers to ease the pain. I would have to say I get all kinds of goofy when I take them-- but being the good little corporate tool that I am I took one of these pills so I could make it to work and make a few bucks. This just happened to coincide with my monthly meeting with the man in charge today and I was feeling pretty darn "happy" when I walked into his office. These monthly meetings basically consist of discussing my strengths and weaknesses in my current job role. Being the obedient tool I am I took notes on little yellow stickies.

As usual, at the end of the meeting he asked me how I was going to implement his suggestions he made for my future development within the company. Lets just say.... I took the stickies with my notes.....stuck them all to my forehead and replied...."Osmosis!" with a shit eating grin on my face.

Lets just say.....BAD IDEA.

Just thought I would share. Anyone want to make me feel better and share their dumb ass on the job antics?
