Round up your kitchen counter blender, or go to a thrift store and find one.
Organic kale, celery, bok choy, cucumbers, parsley, cilantro, spinach, collards, etc.
These are the ingredients to a healthful green juice from a blender.
I have had a kale, spinach, asparagus and lemon drink for breakfast the last two weeks. I feel renewed and have energy to do everything!
Put your favorite greens (organic if possible) plus a minimal amount of filtered water in your blender, maybe about 1/4 cup. Blend til broken down, but don't let the blender heat up the juice! No fruit allowed!
I bought flour sack towels at Wal-Mart to strain the juice, 100,% cotton. Washed then in very hot water in the sink without detergent. Cut in quarters, these will last longer than nut bags.
Get a bowl, a fine mesh strainer and your straining material. Liquify your greens in the blender and pour them over the straining material into the bowl. Wait just a few minutes and squeeze the juice into the bowl.
Pour juice into your drinking vessel and be prepared to feel awesome.
Lemon juice helps the bitter greens not so bitter, I've also heard about ginger too.
No need to spend $$ on a juicer when I spent $1 on one at a yard sale. Drink your veggies, it's good for you! :-)
