Original Message Guests did not like children screaming and shouting, the noise was intolerable and the singer was encouraging fans, say insiders.

Justin Bieber has been kicked out of the most prestigious hotel in Paris because of bad behavior, it has been claimed.

The 19-year-old Canadian pop star checked into the fabled Hotel Le Meurice, which is an historic institution in the French capital used by royalty and film stars, on Sunday.

He had booked seven suites on two floors for him and his vast entourage, at a cost of well into six figures.

But within a few hours, hundreds of young fans had begun massing outside and even inside the lobby.

Jean-Marc Morandini, a TV and radio showbusiness presenter in Paris, said on his blog: "Justin Bieber has just been kicked out of the Meurice Hotel in Paris.

"It was a decision taken by the management of the luxury hotel because of his attitude in the establishment, and because of the nuisance caused by the presence of his fans around the buildings."

Fans show their appreciation for Bieber
Insiders at the hotel, a favorite of numerous big names including Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, as well as members of the British royal family, said that the noise had become "intolerable".

"There were kids everywhere screaming and shouting, and the other guests just didn't like it," said the source.

"Justin was clearly encouraging his fans - that's something he has to do."

A spokesman for the Meurice confirmed that the star had left suddenly, but diplomatically insisted that the hotel's management had not asked him to go.

"Justin Bieber had indeed left the establishment to go elsewhere, but we do not know where," he said.

He added: "But this is a decision made by him or his team. We do not turn people away."

The singer, who is due to perform at the Palais Omnisports in Paris-Bercy on Tuesday night, was later seen checking into the equally luxurious Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Paris.

Bieber was forced to apologise to fans in London earlier this month after arriving late on stage.

Many young fans left the capital's O2 Arena without seeing their idol, sparking anger among both the devotees and their parents.

Bieber-mania hits the French capital
He later explained he had to start his performance late due to "technical issues" and was not delayed for as long as the two hours first claimed, but by just 40 minutes.

Bieber, who has 36 million Twitter followers, has an army of fans around the world, and many try to turn up at the hotels he stays at.

Nicknamed the 'Hotel of Kings', the 160-room Meurice was founded in 1815 with the aim of recreating an English country house in central Paris.

Famous guests over the years have included former US president Franklin D Roosevelt, British Prime Minister Anthony Eden, the Spanish artist Salvador Dali, and actors Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

More recently, those paying thousands a night to stay have included the singer Beyonce, Madonna and rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West.
