We should not be part of political matters.........it's none of our business as we are not part of this world, atleast we aren't supposed to be. That's what Jesus taught.
So turn a blind eye on sin?
Not my job to condemn another, and I would never want that job anyway.
I agree with you on that... But aren't we called to inform our brothers and sisters when they are is sin?
If the person is your christian brother or christian sister, then you can offer loving advice in private and tell them to pray about it.......because the Holy Spirit will let them know if they are in error or not, which is a very personal thing. The Holy Spirit is the guide here, not man. But, this is not what we are doing here. This is not a private conversation between 2 christians, this is a debate in public including people of all faiths. This is not appropriate, nor helpful to others reading who may or may not be struggling with their own sexual tendencies and or their own relationship with God. This kind of thing only serves to push them farther and farther away from the Lord because they believe they are not loved or welcomed into the Kingdom of God, which is a horrible thing to do.
So then in private you believe its a sin? So are you saying we need to go along with this world (even sin) so as to not offend or turn anyone away?
are you free of sin? completely sinless
This is a very controversial issue right now, and it has people on both sides very emotional about their beliefs and opinions.
On one side, supporters of Gay Marriage say that Christians should apply the Christian concept of love to all people, regardless of sexual orientation. They also say that refusing marital rights to homosexual couples denies them basic freedoms granted to them through the constitution.
On the other side, opponents of Gay Marriage say that homosexuality has been thouroughly rejected and labeled a sin in both the Old and New Testament of the bible. They also say that legalizing Gay Marriage opens the window for other controversial and outlandish notions of Marriage, to include Polygamy, underage Marriage, and the marrying of animals with humans.
