[quote:Vixi:MV8yMTgxMDk4XzM2ODk1NTAyX0QxNTFGQUU1] [quote:Anonymous Coward 31315433:MV8yMTgxMDk4Xzc4QjRGRDEx] I went to a Northeast Texas Walmart on Sunday around 5:00 p.m. and only two checkout clerks there and shelves unstocked; one on the express and one on a regular checkout. Very few people in the store. I knew the lady that was ringing mine up and she said seven people called in. Then I ran across this article and the employees are saying: "it’s piling up in aisles and in the back of stores because Wal-Mart doesn’t have enough bodies to restock the shelves" I don't believe it's just a staffing problem. Maybe other countries aren't shipping their crappy products anymore. Something is going on. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-03-26/customers-flee-wal-mart-empty-shelves-for-target-costco.html?cmpid=yhoo
I live in Northeast Texas and I was at my local Walmart Sunday also. Found the same thing. Really strange! I was there late too. Normally they have the freight out and are restocking, but not that night.
