"KUSA - 9NEWS got a lot of calls and newstips Thursday morning from folks who saw something out of the ordinary on their way to work.

The reports are all very similar: a large flash of green light, followed by a trailing green light. It was seen just before 6 a.m. in the northeast sky.

We have talked with several local police departments who say they also received calls about the green light. One police dispatcher and one fire dispatcher 9NEWS spoke with said they saw it themselves as they drove to work."
