If you were a construction foreman, as I am, you would understand that the connections that hold a modern building are merely 2 1/2 times strength to withstand windload and live load, greater in earthquake zones. As for physics, well, almost everyone understands that things fall straight down towards the center of the earth. For good measure let's also realize that 1500 architects and engineers represent about 1% of that profession, interesting as well as that number matches the insanity rate of the general population.
Correction: 1% of that profession that have the GUTS to state their opinion despite potential reprisal personally & professionally. Let me summarize so you can understand: they have courage and conviction, you're a coward.
Bingo! It's hard to blame them with the number that speak out that meet untimely deaths.
Tower 1 - 1700 feet tall
Boeing 767 - 180 feet long
Ratio ~10:1
Speed at impact - 500 mph
Human - 72 inches tall
Arizona iced tea aluminum can - 7 inches tall
Ration ~10:1
Speed at impact - 50 mph
Building 7 - 741 ft
Proportion to Tower 1 - ~2:1
Experiment
: If I throw a mostly empty iced tea can at some average height guy at a speed slower than your average softball pitch, will he implode into his own footprint?
Variable
: How about if I fill it with gasoline and light it on fire first?
Expected outcome
: I'd expect that he would collapse into his own size 10 footprint, since he doesn't have a reinforced steel structure like the mighty Tower 1...
Covariate
: And if
Vern Troyer
(2:1) just happened to be standing a few hundred feet away, will he also collapse into his own size 3 footprint in some previously unknown form of sympathetic physics?
The point:
Who are you going to believe: nameless, faceless disinfo agents and propaganda on the World Wide Web (of lies), or 1,835 Architects & Engineers publicly staking their reputations solely for the purposes of seeking truth? [
