You know all this because the US government told you or the BBC or some stupid major media news? If your not a sheep at least question everything they tell you.
Uh no. If I were to get information on North Korea by the major media it would only be on actions that they have undertook recently. What I know about North Korea comes from defectors from North Korea, journalists who have been inside North Korea and a few other sources like some historians. It's nice that you take that condescending tone though. [quote:Folklore 35872333:MV8yMjAxNTg0XzM3Mjc4MzQxXzMzQTYwOTY=] I'm sure NK is a pretty shitty environment, but I doubt it's as bad as all these media and other people say it is.
Understatement. Between 1995 to 1998 an estimated 3 million North Koreans starved to death while anywhere from 50 to 80 percent of food aid was redirected to the Kim dynasty and high level military commanders. North Korean defectors have provided us with a clear picture of what life is like inside North Korea. School Children are walked to school whilst being forced to hold pictures of the eternal president, Kim il Sung and the ex dear leader, Kim Jong il. If a political dissident is caught, they are executed and three generations of their family are sent to a forced labour camp for an unknown amount of time, usually they starve to death before their sentence is up. Strict curfews, bans on all outside technology, all western movies, games, literature nothing is allowed. They have banned the personal life of their citizens. This is a state which is worse than 1984, you want to defend a state like this? Silly me though, it's probably all because the United States bullies them, right? This all comes from the ex citizens of North Korea, the horses mouth. [quote:Folklore 35872333:MV8yMjAxNTg0XzM3Mjc4MzQxXzMzQTYwOTY=] If you want more propaganda that will actually make you think look up Crossing the line. It's about this army PFC that defected and crossed the DMZ back in the korean war by himself and currently lives in NK and loves it. Yes he's a traitor I know it's very Dishonerable. Yet it's another side to the story of NK most people don't get to hear about. Yes its probably more propaganda but At least we can see both sides and question the fuck out of the info. It's on Netflix if your interested or just torrent dl it. Point is we don't know shit unless we are there to witness it first hand.
I couldn't give a fuck if one person says they enjoy North Korea, considering the stream of people that are trying to escape or are escaping or have escaped. There are hundreds of ex North Koreans telling there story, giving interviews, writing books. [quote:Folklore 35872333:MV8yMjAxNTg0XzM3Mjc4MzQxXzMzQTYwOTY=] We are being fed hate rite now just like rite after 911 with the Muslims.
Yeah, I don't remember getting fed hate towards Muslims after 9/11. In fact I explicitly remember George Bush saying Islam was a religion of peace and that we are not a war with it. I remember that MSM labeling anyone who spoke out against or criticized Islam as an "Islamaphobe". You strike me as the kind of person that would have supported Saddams Iraq and then said that you yourself live in a fascist country.
Let me guess.
If the missile test does not go ahead as planned people will get bored. The hype and panic the media are creating is all propaganda.
Your mind is bring warped by the media. "I know I can't be the only one to like the sound of a nuclear attack or war" is what you might think if there is extreme tension and build up and then nothing happens.
The media are repeating the same shit to you and building tension and expectation inside of you until you feel- "like this is going to let me down if nothing happens".
You need to unplug yourself because the media is updating you with these ideas that are rewriting your sense of Right and Wrong, influencing your thoughts, and shaping your mind. So that you can reacquaint yourself with reality instead of living life like it is a movie and asking people - "what would you like to see?".
Never ever underestimate the power of propaganda.
