Piss On You!! Over the last 13 years or so the ONLY publications inthe US that would publish stuff that was AGAINST the story that TPTB wanted told were: The Rolling Stone, The New Yorker, and Atlantic Monthly.[/b] Many of you are too young to remember, but it was ONLY those three publications that would even TOUCH the flaws in the arguments for the upcoming War's in the Middle East that were pushed in 2001-2003, including Seymour Hersh's great works of Investigative Jouralism. Ditto with lots of stories about financial shenanigans by THE BIG BOYS over the last 15 years. What those three publications would publish was GREAT Investigative Journalism that the Wall Street Journal, The New York, Times, the LA Times, Time, Newsweek, the wire services, and TV the networks WOULDN'T EVEN TOUCH (might hurt their advertising revenue!!, or make certain groups with lots of Shill's unhappy). There are more big stories to be told, but you can be certain that NO mainstream news company in the US is going to tell those stories, only those few publications that do NOT rely upon traditional advertisers for their revenue base (ie: such as the three mentioned above) and that also have a reputation for Journalistic Integrity. BRAVO to the The Rolling Stone. This isn't the first major investigative piece they have done, and hopefully will not be the last as print media slowly decends in importance, and revenue streams, in our now Wired Society. Conspiracy theorists of the world, believers in the hidden hands of the Rothschilds and the Masons and the Illuminati, we skeptics owe you an apology. You were right. The players may be a little different, but your basic premise is correct: The world is a rigged game. We found this out in recent months, when a series of related corruption stories spilled out of the financial sector, suggesting the world's largest banks may be fixing the prices of, well, just about everything.
