Original Message Let's forget about all the conspiracy theories surrounding the Boston Marathon but address the simple question above.

Martial law may have been declared and I simply did come across the news blurb stating such, or it may have been "declared" but simply not talked about or verbalized as such by the authorities. But since the search for the supposed bomber involved door to door searches, which presumably violated the 4th amendment, I would think that martial law was in effect at the time just not stated as such.
